Carbunup River

The Carbunup River is located in the South West corner of Western Australia. The mouth of the Carbunup River is approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of Busselton where the river flows into Geographe Bay. The Carbunup River is 36 kilometres (22 mi) in length and flows North from its headwaters in the Treeton State Forest/Whicher Range in the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River.

Walpole-Nornalup National Park

Walpole-Nornalup National Park is a national park in the South West region of Western Australia (Australia), 355 km south of Perth. It is famous for its towering Karri and Tingle trees. Red Tingle trees are unique to the Walpole area. The ‘Valley of the Giants’ is one of the main tourist draws in the area. Visitors can get a tree top view on the ‘Tree Top Walk’ a 40 m high walk-way.

Mt Barker

Mount Barker is a town situated on Albany Highway 360 kilometres (224 mi) south of Perth and 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of the city of Albany. Mount Barker is the administrative centre of the Shire of Plantagenet, which contains the Stirling and Porongurup Range National Parks. South Western Highway

South Western Highway is a highway in the South West region of Western Australia connecting Perth’s southeast with Walpole. It is a part of the National Highway 1 network for much of its length. It is about 406 kilometres (252 mi) long. From Perth, the highway, signed as State Route 20, starts from the Albany Highway junction in Armadale, 28 km from Perth, and follows a north-south route 20–30 km inland from the coast.

Walpole

Walpole is a town in Western Australia, 432 km SSE of Perth and 66 km west of Denmark. Walpole lies very close to the northern point of the 100-hectare Walpole Inlet, from which it takes its name. The area is famous for the giant tingle and karri trees of old growth forest. Another attraction is the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk in the Walpole-Nornalup National Park.

Yallingup

Yallingup is a town in the South West region of Western Australia, 266 kilometres (165 mi) south of Perth. Yallingup is a popular tourist destination because of its beaches and limestone caves, and proximity to Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. Yallingup is named after an Australian Aboriginal word that means “Place of Love”. After its caves were discovered by European settlers in 1899, Yallingup became popular with tourists.

It is largely surrounded by karri, marri and jarrah forest and is close to the Warren, D’Entrecasteaux and Shannon national parks. Lake Clifton

Lake Clifton is a small town located on the east side of the lake of the same name in the Peel region of Western Australia just off the Old Coast Road, between Mandurah and Bunbury at the north end of the Yalgorup National Park. Lake Clifton contains basic accommodation and shopping, and a community hall offering a range of activities. A couple of roadhouses for passing trucks and motorists are located on Old Coast Road, while rural residential estates have sprung up at Tuart Grove.
