The Avon River is a river in Western Australia. It is a tributary of the Swan River totalling 280 kilometres in length, with a catchment area of 125,000 square kilometres. Lake Yealering in the Shire of Wickepin is the point of origin for the upper Avon river. The Avon river is the site of an annual whitewater boating event, the Avon Descent.
