Tiger snakes are a type of venomous serpent found in southern regions of Australia. These snakes are highly variable in their colour, and individuals also show seasonal variation in colour. The total length may be up to 2.1 meters (7 ft). Tiger snake venom is potentially fatal to humans, but the snake is not likely to attack unless threatened.
